Chapter Philanthropy and Service
Think Pink. Think Zeta.
The Theta Eta chapter is extremely dedicated and constantly working to serve our philanthropy: Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. During the fall we have a month dedicated to our philanthropy called “Pink Out.” During the month of October, “Pink Out” includes many events throughout our campus that help raise awareness for breast cancer such as our t-shirt sales, bra drive, and Big Man on Campus. We are proud to work with SFA Athletics to produce the Pink Out Football and Volleyball Game, where the campus fills the stands wearing pink to honor breast cancer survivors and victims. In the spring, you can also find our chapter at the SFA basketball men,s and women's, baseball, and softball Pink Out games. Make sure to join us at our annual spring philanthropy event, Zatertots, which includes endless amounts of tater-tots and fun for friends, family, and alumni.
In the last two years, Theta Eta has been able to raise over $27,000 for Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. In addition, our chapter supports the scholastic endeavors of the ZTA Foundation by funding the Brittany Nabors Memorial Scholarship. Our Zeta Tau Alpha chapter here at Stephen F. Austin State University loves to help other organizations with their fundraising and philanthropy events, too. We proudly participate in Alpha Chi Omega’s Pizza Pie, Chi Omega’s Wish Week, Tri Delta’s Pancake Breakfast, and Delta Zeta's Boot Scootin' Barbeque.
